January 2 2012 Categories: Thailand Business No comments yet
I have the pleasure to inform you that the second edition of my book “How to Safely Buy Real Estate in Thailand” shall be available in Thailand Bookstores starting from the 10th of February 2010 at a price of 625 THB. Later this month it shall also become available on Amazon.com, Nobles and Barnes and Theebooksale.com websites among others. It contains 54 chapters and 342 pages of useful information for anyone interested to buy real estate in Thailand.
Why Should You Read this Book?
By experience I know that purchasing real estate in Thailand is a sound investment and I have seen many investors earning a good return on their investment this way. But experience also shows that success is not always a given because there are numerous legal issues to consider and many traps awaiting unsuspecting buyers.
I am not saying that purchasing real estate in Thailand is overly complicated or risky. On the contrary, I think that Thailand is one of the safest destinations for those interested to purchase property outside their home country. My point however is that buying real estate in Thailand should not be an emotional transaction and that buyers should not toss caution to the wind and lose all common sense when doing so, because if they do they may loss their investment.
I wrote “How to Safely Buy Real Estate in Thailand”, to present the critical issues you must be consider before purchasing real estate in Thailand. Awareness of these issues, will prevent you to fall into one of the many traps or pitfalls I mentioned above and to join the rank of those I call the fortunate buyers, those whom successfully invested in Thai real estate.
Note: The first edition of this Book was published in January 2009 under the title “How to Purchase Real Estate Offshore Safely: The case of Thailand” The book first edition was finalist at USA Book News National Best Book Award category business/real estate. This second editions contains 10 more chapters and 70 more pages than the first one.
