The Pattaya Mail reported today that, according to sources from several police divisions a serious crackdown on Bar Businesses would begin next month that would target GoGo bars, Beer Bars, Gay Bars and any other bars which are charging bar fines to the customers to let their employees leave work early. Now according to the Pattaya Mail, the police “suspects that many of these rendezvous are sexually related”.

What is a Non Immigrant Visa B

Foreign investors who wish to come into Thailand to conduct a business or to work must first obtain a Non Immigrant Visa B with a Royal Thai Embassy.

The Non Immigrant Visa B will allow you to stay in Thailand for a period of not more than 90 days at a time. This visa may be granted for a single entry or multi entries.

Thailand 2011 Gap Between Government and Business Efficiency

Following yesterday post I’m continuing the discussion on IMG world competitiveness survey. The second aspect of the survey is to compare each country rankings for Government and Business Efficiency. In a perfect world Government and Business Efficiency should be balanced but very few countries do achieve this feat.

Among the best are Hong Kong which is ranking No 1 for Government Efficiency and Business Efficiency, Singapore and Australia ranking respectively No 2 and No 7th on both counts. But well balanced results are not always a good thing as shown like Mexico and Romania that ranks badly in both Government and Business Efficiency with scores that are respectively at 43/59 and 49/59
