Bangkok Post shows disrespect to the victims and the families of the victims of this week end bombing

I’m seriously pissed off with the Bangkok Post. Today they published an article which original title was “a 200 millions THB mess” which article was related to last weekend multiple bombing tragedy was simply the worth thing the Bangkok post have ever published. Before to be a 200 millions THB mess this was a most tragic event where 13 people have lost their life and 350 have been wounded.

Thailand Forbe List of Billionaires

This year again the buzz is to know who made it on the Billionaires list. I’m still not on it and i guess you are not too. This being said only five Thais made it on Forbes list. What surprised me is not so much who made it but who did not make it. See the thing is that Thailand has a huge shadow economy (shadow economy being all financial and commercial transactions that are not done officially and do not generate taxes or social securities payments).

Is Thailand a safe country?

Yes. Thailand has low violent crime statistics compared to other countries such as France or the US. Of course, violence does exist but is not often directed at foreigners. While there are from time to time crimes against foreigners, they are still rarer than in your homeland and when foreigners do get into trouble, they, often bring it upon themselves.
